There is no need to book: walk in Monday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and a lawyer who is both a notary public and a commissioner for taking affidavits will see you, usually within a few minutes. Two hours of parking on site are free.

What identification do I need?
Bring one valid, original government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s licence, passport or Ontario Photo Card. For affidavits, an ID that shows your current address is best. Expired ID and photocopies cannot be accepted.
How much does notarization cost?

Should I sign my document before I arrive?
No. Affidavits and statutory declarations must be signed in front of the notary. If you have already signed, we will ask you to sign a fresh copy.
